The version k3b delivered with SuSE Linux 8.2 does not support DVDs and the version from PackMan can only be used with KDE 3.1.4 (version 3.1.1 is delivered with SuSE 8.2), therefore I recompiled the k3b package; and as I was at it, I recompiled as well the dvd+rw-tools.

Once this is done, given that you downloaded all the RPMs in the same directory where you currently are, you can just install all the RPMs at once (this should work ;-):
rpm -Uvh *.i686.rpm
